BBEF: Build/Burst/Easy/Fast
Build: Easy to Fast -- build speed
Burst: Fast to Easy -- burst from the wall, speedy break-out
EMF: Easy/Medium/Fast
EZ: Easy
Gator Kick: Streamline kick (usually flutter) on the stomach. Goggles have to stay out of the water and arms must stay in streamline at all times.
Hip-Overs: Used to turn without the wall. Preferable over flip-turns because flip-turns retain velocity while we want to stop forward velocity and go in the opposite direction. Push down on the water with both arms and use abs to bring knees to the chest. Use a breaststroke or sidestroke kick in place of when you would kick at the wall. You should be on your back or side when you flip, then roll over to your stomach after your initial kick.KDS: Kick/Drill/Swim
Legburner: All Out kicking
Pickle: Streamline Dolphin Kick on your back (alt. Flutter Pickle: Streamline Flutter Kick on your back)
Position Eleven: front float + extended arms in a parallel position (hands at or a little wider than shoulder width apart)
RIMO: Reverse IM Order (alt. IMO: IM Order)
Stone Skipper:
- Three dolphin kicks in position eleven
- One butterfly pull, kick, and breathe without the arm recovery
- Press chest into the water as soon as possible using a dolphin kick
- Dive and glide underwater
- recover arms underneath body into position eleven
Streamline:
- Hand over hand with fingers parallel, thumb of top hand grasping side of bottom hand
- Head in between (or a little lower than) arms where arms can cover the ears
- Arms squeezed in so elbows are as close to straight as possible
- Stomach sucked in to minimize the lower back arch
